Headphone Problem?

Okie when i put my headphones in the mp3 player and play the music you can hear it than it cuts out for some reason, and than you move the head phone cord around and it will start playing and it keeps doing this

i have a camnex cmv560

Either the socket on the mp3 player is faulty, or the headphone plug. Try another headset ( borrow a friends)
