How can i tell which wires go to my floppy drive, and which wire goes to my cd? and is there a diaigran to show the difference?.

Normally there is one power cable for both, but two data cables. The Power cable will have a small white 4 pin connector on 2 black, 1 red and 1 yellow wire, and a larger white 4 pin connector. They are both shaped so that they only fit one way.

The Data cables are different. The Floppy data cable has 34 pin connectors (normally 3) and the CD drive is similar to the HDD cable with 40 pins. The easiest way to recognise a floppy cable from a CD cable is the floppy has a twisted section in the ribbon (data cable) which the HDD and CD ribbons dont have.
