Worcester Heatslave 9.24 will not light?

The overheat thermostat kept tripping out on my Worcester Heatslave 9.24. (open flue model) Eventually it has given up altogether and will not relight. British Gas have told me the overheat thermostat is now broken but they cannot source a replacement one.
Any ideas how / where I can find a replacement overheat thermostat?

British Gas think its to old and want you to buy a new boiler, they have a promotion at the moment, and are paying their service guys extra bonus if they can get a new boiler installed.

You should be able to get a new Hi-Limit stat.

Depends where you are but look in your yellow pages for "HEATING REPLACEMENT PARTS AND CONTROLS".
They are a national company and should be able to tell you if the parts are available.
Some suppliers are now not selling specific gas parts to non corgi customers but they should still be able to give you info.
I recently got a part for a b/gas customer when they told him the same and they eventually came back and fixed it...
Good luck
