plug stuck in a socket?

my kettle plug will not come out of the socket, it is stuck, what do i do?

Firstly I would try to work out how it's stuck, chances are there has been a small fire which has locked it in there but it could be greasy and held by a vacuum.

I think the best solution is to replace the socket. As this is in a wet area you should get someone considered competent to handle it.
