Baxi 105e instant fan continues to run and will not switch off?

Hi there.

I have a Baxi 105e instant boiler. When heating DHW it goes through correct sequence as described in fault finding. However after burner extinguishes the fan continues to run and will not switch off with the green DHW mode light staying illuminated. Fault finder seems to suggest replace PCB but I would like to be certain this is the solution as these retail at about £100. Are there any other parts on the boiler that might cause this problem?

To Hi-Spec Plumbing,

Thanks for advising so promptly. I think your right - it sounds like it's time to call in an engineer.

its hard to pin point a certain fault like that without looking .could say ya change pcb and it ends up a loose wire.

best way is to get an engineer and he will put a meter on the electrics and test each part for ohms etc, and pin point fault better than just guessing on here

electrics on a boiler can be a pain when there faulty.
