Don't know if this is any help, but I do not think you need to set up any software. I have the same camera, and the PC wouldn't recognise it either. I then de-installed all related Lumicron software, just plugged the lead into the camera and into the PC, switched on the camera, and Windows XP recognised the camera as another hard drive by itself after a little while. You can then just copy pictures off the new "camera drive" (you can see it in Windows Explorer) into your My Pictures etc. on your computer just as any other file you copy.
Tip: You may have to jiggle the connector and push it in quite hard on the camera - as I said, mine didn't recognise it to start with, but eventually did. Good luck.
