boiler pressure runs very high when heating is on. Pressure valve opens and vents water but pressure does not drop.

Hhen the hot water is drawn, the pressure rises as normal, but will not drop when the boiler cools down.

I have the same problem with my ferrolli modena 102 boiler.The expansion vessel was changed but the pressure is still getting higher.Any ideas please

Engineer charged the expansion vessel and fitted a new pressure releave valve. All OK now

Its is most likely to be the expansion vessel has lost its air cusion. Contact a CORGI registered install to repressure or replace as needed.
