Kenmore washer model 11022622100?

My washer works fine until the spin cycle. It spins slightly, but grinds and wont completely wring out my clothing. Would it be the motor coupling going out? I have a heavy duty cycle and it wont spin hardly at all. I machine only seems to work better on the normal cycle but yet doesnt completely spin out.

I havent noticed any black powder around the machine. It just has a hard time spinning and wringing out my clothing. So you think it is the drive block? Are they expensive?
Thanks for your help.

Melissa,

If your washer is washing, I'm not sure it is the coupler. Do you see any black powder under the washer? Since you said it was grinding and and sometimes spinning it may be the drive block which is under the agitator. Although, if the coupler just started getting bad that can't be ruled out totally either.
