Can I ask is the problem that it turns on & off by itself or that you turn camera on & then it shuts down by itself. I have an Olympus F100, I turn the camera on & the shutter opens the ready light will turn on, then immediatly will shut itself down. Mine was a connection problem at the Battery compartment the slide lid that holds the Battery's in place was not flush to the camera. When I hold hold camera to take a pic I keep my thumb on the lid & tada it stays on & it has stopped flashing the red Battery & shows the green Full. Hope this helps you.
