turn it on main menu screen comes on but there is no cursor tried a new sensor but no difference

my nintendo ds just powers the green light then clicks off just started doing this was working fine with no problems at all

The kids have pulled the Nintendo dsi in half and now it won't work the lights flash on then just go off again can this be fixed

please can anyone answer this question? my nintendo wii keeps coming up when ive put a disc in ( brand new ones that ive recently bought ) cannot read disc xx thanks much appreciated xx
