The video channel is snowy.
The rest of the TV channel is working fine. Check the connection already. It is correct. What could be wrong?

if you ave having snow problems, here is the fix.
1. Eject the video cassette
2. Hold down both the "Play" and "Stop" buttons at the same time for 10 seconds..(this re-sets the machine to factory defaults).
3. Turn Power off for 30 seconds
4. Restart and load a video cassette and you will have NO SNOW.

Try as suggested. However, it does not have any effect. How to noe whether VCR modulator is at fault?

Excessive signal overloading the agc or a faulty vcr modulator.

Re excessive signal, crude check..try pulling the aerial plug out of socket slightly to see if it has any positive effect.
