I HAVE A POTTERTON BOILER (AROUND 7 YEARS OLD)OVER THE LAST COUPLE OF MONTHS WE HAVE INCREASINGLY HAD TO RESTART THE BOILER.WE HAVE NOW HIT THE EVENTUAL RESULT WHERE BY I CANNOT START THE HEATING.TYPICAL JUST COMING UP TO XMAS! I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY SUGGESTIONS OR IDEA OF REPAIR COSTS. NB: I HAVE HEARD THAT THE PCB'S ARE RENOWNED TO FAIL IN THESE BOLIERS.
hi, yep, same here. we now have a british gas boiler insurance (£14 a month) and have had to call them out to fix the PCB 3 times... if boilers weren't so expensive - i'd get rid.
