Oh, just to add - I am trying to rectify the same issue as this thread - no pressure. Cheers.

Hi, if anyone is still there all these years later! The boiler can be off to do this, can't it? I have this model of boiler in a new rented place and it clearly needs to be sorted out because the only way I can have it is to put the plug in and all water and heat fires up, or I take the plug out and it all turns off because the on/off switch isn't working. I have tried turning a big screw on the silver bendy pipe but there was no response. I assume I've done something wrong or the boiler has something more serious wrong with it. Thanks for any help.

Somewhere on the side or back of your boiler you'll find the 'filling loop' - this is the flexible pipe connection that connects your boiler to the house water main. At one end of the loop there will be a tap, operated by hand, screwdriver or small spanner depending on the type. Open this tap slowly and your boiler pressure will rise. Don't overdo it though - you'll need to bleed water out if you do.
