Sanyo VHR - D500E video recorder?

I asked a question, some time back about my Sanyo VHS video recorder, below:

I have a 'Sanyo VHR - D500E' vhs video recorder and every time i tried to press the stop button to stop the tape the recorder made a funny noise and i had to stop and start it a few times before i was actually able to eject the tape.
Now the recorder won't accept a video tape because the mechanics of the moving parts that take the cassette in and bring it out has somehow stopped. I can still use the recorder to control my tv.As for playing tapes its not working. It's something mechanical. When i press the play or rewind buttons etc. they work but then stop.It sounds like something has snapped or given way because the electronics are ok.
What shall I do? Can it be repaired?

I got an answer from a Kevin Lambert saying It sounds as though one or two of the belts have stretched or broken.Plastic gears. You say you used to assemble Sanyo VCR's. Could you give me the names of any technicians that could fix my VCR.Thanks Kevin.

sim as correias estão folgadas mas atenção que para as substituir tem de manter a mecanica na exta posição porque se saltar a posição é muito complicado repor a posição correcta. e esta altera os travoes dos tambores.

Anyone have an idea where I can get a Sanyo VCR technician in London or someone that could fix my machine.
