Can I usea baxi back boiler safely without the fire front?

I have a baxi back boiler with a VP3 fire front which is apparently one of the more modern fronts but in my eyes very old fashioned, is it possible to run the back boiler without a firefront? Obviously I want it to be safe.

In a word, NO

you may be able to replace the fire front and retain the boiler, some of the new fire fronts are recessed and appear like a real fire (very realistic) and place a proper fire place around it.
