go to the microsoft direct x web site for the latest drivers i think its directx 9.0c as the latest drivers go to www.microsoft.com/windows/directx.
also run the directx diagnostic tool (go to start select run type in dxdiag then press ok) here you can run a test ect... and can change settings.
also your system needs to be capable to run direct draw ect..
