Update.inf file Missing?

I tried to install the microsoft iSCSI initiator in windows 2008 server but the installation stopped with an error message "SETUP COULD NOT FIND THE UPDATE.INF FILE NEEDED TO UPDATE YOUR SYSTEM" Anybody have any idea about how and where to find this update.inf file
