Have had this on two camcoders and common cause of this is dirty recording head or tape - also can be caused by tape not running smoothly in cassette - Make sure battery is fully charged and use a good head cleaner ( a cotton bud in meths can be used but you really need to be sure you are touching the right component ). Tapes are fairly cheap and I never use one a second time or leave in the camera for a protracted period - after cleaning camera run tape fully on fast forward and reverse a few times .good luck
