I have a Brother Word Processor with correction tape and when I press the 'correct key' the tape jumps off the spindle so therefore I cannot make any corrections on my word processor. It is model # WP-700D, serial # is M56641657. Any help would be appreciated very much.

It looks more like a typewriter with a correction tape, not a software based word processor. There was a time, in the 80's and early 90's, when such where falsly sold as word processors.
It's probably over 20 years old.

It's a mechanical fault, not a software problem.
Try to find a local repair shop that still do type writers.
