My Fujifilm finepix J27 will not charge the battery, when you connect to the computer to re-charge it the little lights indicating charge status do not light up.

The cable connection seems ok because when you switch the camera on it links up with the computer .

I have installed a new battery but cannot charge that either, so it seems that the problem is within the camera itself .

you can't charge it's battery in the camera, you need a fuji charger and the battery sits in that.
