I have a Thorn EMI freestanding boiler model number M30/42B and the Timer Switch does not move or set any times at all. The "Selector" can only be set on "Continuous" so as to enable both CHS and HWS to operate The boiler thermostat has to be set just over 1 to lessen the pipe noise but the wall thermostat will allow the CH to be set at the required temperature.
