Fix Fault Finalize Dvd

it takes ages to recognize a disc when first switched on and will sometimes take a long time to eject or close the disc draw also it will not finalize recordings

I don't have the manual for it and have no clue... tried looking everywhere for a manual and can't find one Please help me before I descend into madness

I can't get my disks DVD-R to finalize in my Samsung Camcorder sent it in. They say bad disk. Is their anything I can do to fix this problem. & get my disks to finalize. Thanks
